The goals of the 2020 Cholangiocarcinoma Virtual Summit are to provide a forum to discuss the most recent advances in our understanding of the epidemiology, pathology, and translational/basic science and clinical research that will impact the management of patients with cholangiocarcinoma (CCA).
During this closed-door/invitation-only virtual meeting, we will hear viewpoints from medical and surgical oncologists, interventional radiologists, gastroenterologists, and pathologists on the most pressing unmet needs in treating CCA and the latest approaches to medical and surgical treatment. In addition, this year’s meeting has been expanded to include an exchange of information on other forms of biliary cancer including gallbladder cancer.
There will be ample opportunities for virtual social networking and interactions.
It is our sincere hope that this meeting will provide a valuable learning experience in which translational advances and novel therapies will be coupled with evolving standards of care for patients with CCA, as well as other forms of biliary cancer and gallbladder cancer. This highly interactive meeting will foster a free exchange of information among attendees and an opportunity to interact with expert faculty.
